The Morrissey
Dear blog,
aside from the tattoo shop, i also work at the Henrietta Pita Pit. They let me make the daily specials and i usually make a little drawing to go with them. the first one was The David Arquette, now i bring you the first installation in what will be an ongoing series of pita pit daily specials...The Morrissey. I forgot the 'e' in his name so i kinda tacked it on later because clearly craftsmanship is a staple of my work.

Bar sketches
Dear blog,
Yesterday I was at the Bug Jar for a sick grind show. I always feel awkward at bars, especially when the people I'm meeting aren't there yet, so I just draw until the show starts. Here are 2 of them, I gave the rest away to Spoonfull of Vicodin and this awesome grindcore band from the Czech Republic called Pigsty.

swallows and such
dear blog,
I've been practicing my tattoo birds lately because I want to be able to whip them out on the fly. Also, I've been half-assedly trying to get a likeness to Zooey Deschanel but just ending up with hideous mutations. She has a tricky face...
Lastly, the black and white ink drawing in my submission for the second annual and final 6x6 show at RoCo this year!

Wizard of Oz commission
Dear Blog,
Here's the line art for a banner that I'm whipping up for my mom for Oz Fest (not the kind you're thinking of). She has been keeping busy with her sewing and has decided to try a little entrepreneurship now that I've left the nest.
In other news, I'm gathering materials and starting some new pieces for a show that I want to have either this Summer or Fall. Groovy

Livestock Gaurdian Dog
"They are genetically wired for tremendous killing power."
apparently the dog was there to protect her from some bad childhood memories. No joke.
She said she is covered under the persons with disabilities act, but the MTA says that isn't a real disability.
