I've been practicing my tattoo birds lately because I want to be able to whip them out on the fly. Also, I've been half-assedly trying to get a likeness to Zooey Deschanel but just ending up with hideous mutations. She has a tricky face...
Lastly, the black and white ink drawing in my submission for the second annual and final 6x6 show at RoCo this year!

there may be some kind of symbolism to the swirly eyes, but as far as i can tell its just how they have been drawn traditionally for hundreds of years.
